Nye's
Nye's is a local family owned and operated business
serving the Harrisburg area. 
We have been in the same
location for over 85 years! The business, now a mulch, soil
and fuel pellet wholesale/retail operation is headed by William Bailey,
the great grandson of the original owner William F. Nye. The
business first started as a working farm and nursery, then over the
years Nye's began selling flowers. This business grew into a full
service floral shop with over 7 glass covered greenhouses, growing most
of their own flowers! In the late 1980's another product, Bark
Mulch was introduced to increase sales.
 Mulch sales grew from a 2
bin operation to 7 bins and we have plans to add more bins during the
2001 season. In 1997, the floral business was closed to focus on
the mulch sales. Our Harrisburg bark mulch sales include many grades and color
choices along with mushroom and top soil. We deliver in the
East Shore Harrisburg and surrounding areas including Linglestown,
Grantville, Colonial Park, Hummelstown and Hershey.
